Every composer has a "fingerprint" — patterns they default to unconsciously. Anonymous uses a very specific ornamental figure: a descending chromatic turn followed by a suspended 4th resolution. Guess who else uses that EXACT figure in literally every published piece?

I've spoken to three people who attended the Munich recital in September. When an audience member asked him to improvise on a theme, he deflected with a joke and played a prepared piece instead.

Anonymous has been playing at Stephansplatz since at least 2019. Lucius's first major composition was published in 2020. Anonymous plays almost exclusively at night — between 10pm and 2am. Lucius claims he composes "at night, in a state between sleep and waking." The overlap is not a coincidence.
